The 2024 Vail Camporee will take place at Camp Whispering Pines, Mt. Lemmon, AZ from Friday September 13th through Sunday September 15th.  The cost is $30 per person (for both Girl Scouts and adult volunteers) to attend, and covers all facility rental and lodging fees, activities expenses including archery and/or slingshots, a lunch meal on Saturday, a patch, and a t-shirt! 

•   All attendees must be registered with GSUSA for the current girl scout year which runs from 1 October 2023 - 30 September 2024.  Additionally, all adults attending camporee, must be approved volunteers.  This means they must have a completed, approved background check.  All participants’ registration status will be verified with Council prior to the Camporee.  

•   At least one adult from each troop must be First Aid and CPR certified and at least one adult from each troop must be Level 1 camp certified.  While Troop Camp Certification Level 2 (TCC2) is optional for attendance, Level 2 certification is required for building fires at camp.  

Troops will receive more information once registered and an initial, nonrefundable troop deposit of $30 is paid.
