Life skills shouldn’t have to be learned “on the job”... rather we think in a camp setting featuring strong women-leaders in the field, having FUN, is a better way to begin these foundations. Learn by doing at our Camp Hacienda property!

Here are just a few of the skills you will learn – hands on!

• Laundry – decipher those labels on the tag!
• Sewing – bring those T-shirts that don’t fit and you will learn how to upcycle those!
• Menu Planning, Shopping and Cooking – Mac-N-Cheese from scratch, yum!
• Small household emergencies – unclogging a drain, lighting a pilot light, changing a fuse, fixing a running toilet, blown breakers!
• Basic Car Repairs – checking and changing your oil, changing a tire, checking and filling fluids to keep your car running!
• Self Defense strategies and moves – keep yourself safe!
• Using basic tools – to fix just about anything up!
• Financial Skills – balance your bank account, creating a budget, credit why it matters!
• Social media – putting forward your best self!
• And so much more plus four meals and fun, fun, FUN!
